12 ounce bottle. Hazy orange, large foamy head, good retention. Fine floating particles. Aroma of caramel, pine and grapefruit. The taste is grapefruit, lemon, lime, pine, pale malt. Medium bodied, juicy.

12oz bottle. Filtered orange body. Foamy, creamy off-white head. Pretty decent IIPA, especially for $8.99 a six pack. Decent hop depth, not a new school juice bomb, but not a one dimensional resin beast either. Drinkable, with a sort of standard West Coast feel. OK.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours translucent gold with a large, frothy white head. Aroma is resin and malt. Med + body. It’s bitter, has some citrus/pine hoppiness, possibly detectable heat, and rather mild malt for support. Seems to get some earth and citrus after awhile. It’s not about exotic hops, but it makes a very strong statement - heavy duty IPA. Nice moderate hop burn on the tongue. Gotta disagree with the prior expert raters. No reason to rate it low because it’s not setting new horizons. It’s a very good beer. Very pleasant to drink.

Draft at Toronado. Very heady head. Sticky lacing. Tastes like a good DIPA 8 years ago. Without caramel, which is great. So, it’s hops, generic, malts present but fine. Old school but good.

Cloudy dull amber color, small compact head. The aroma is hoppy enough, some malt, and there is a trace of mint. The flavor is a bit too caramelly, moderately sweet; the bitterness is strong, there is a lot of hop resins, but the hops doesn’t seem fresh, and not much fruity strength; it has a lingering mint touch.
A good beer, but there are better ones out there, in this category.

22 oz. bottle, pours a clear copper with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out lots of bready malts upfront, with herbal hops and a little BO. Flavour is on the sweeter side, almost like a cross with a barley wine, with notes of resinous hops, caramel malts, and some bready malt. Strangely tastes totally different to how it smells. I usually don't like sweeter IIPAs, but this doesn't cloy and actually drinks quite smoothly. Very nice stuff.
