Bottle purchased on site in Seattle, consumed in Rome at So Good! Dark caramel brown pour with a short-lasting tan foam. Nose: caramel and cocoa, raisins and vanilla. Mouth: sweet, far too sugary, rasins. Ok

22 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out notes of bourbon, vanilla, and dark bready fruits. Flavour is complex, with loads of complex bourbon barrels, followed by vanilla and bready caramel malt. A lovely bourbon bomb. Excellent.

Waxed bomber poured into Cantillon copita glass. Dark brown color. Small white head. Aroma is beautifully melded with some brown malts, doughy, lightly sweet malty fruitiness, light rye, prune-y leather, faint cocoa. Just an an enticing blend of characters. Flavor is similar blend with no sign of bourbon, which is great. Just a fun beer, nothing strong, all well melded and balanced.
