2012 version on tap at BPP. Lots of head and strong lacing. Aroma is full of an interesting spice-like character that seems to be a byproduct of aging. It’s coriander like. Flavor is mellower on that aspect, lightly astringent and some flavor loss from age. But shines amongst the duds in the pile.

Draft. Rich bronze beer with a dark cream head. Big brandy and light spice aroma with plums/cherries and light caramel. Brandy and dark fruit flavor with malt and some earthiness. Medium bodied. Brandy and dark fruits linger with earth, light spice, and oak.
