Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5
Sampler at brewery. Clear gold amber color. Not much head retention. Aroma is generic American hops - some pine, some sweet hops. No resin or grass. There is a bit of malt sweetness balancing the moderate hop bitterness in the flavor. Bitterness aftertaste. I’m not particularly smitten with this ipa but it gets the job done.
