Draft nitro pint at the brewery. Pours a still solid black with a thick tan nitro foam head. Very soft aroma of a light roasted malt. Flavor is on the gentle side as well. Soft cream, roast, mild chocolate, and a dry malt finish. Nothing harsh here. Just a light, easy drinking sweet stout. Not bad at all.

Nitro at brewery. Fortunately the nitro doesn’t get in the way of the strongly roasted, yet low acidity nose. Light yet toasty. Flavor is stripped out watery roast. Clear brown color, nitro head.

On tap at Postdoc, pours a dark mahogany / dark brown with a large tan head. Nose is dry, with oats and toasted malt. Flavour is dry, with oats and a touch of dry cocoa underneath. Pretty ordinary, boring dry Irish stout. Meh.
