Draft pour to a schooner at Broadview Taphouse. A mostly clean golden orange pour. Patchy fizz head. They advertise ginger, and they certainly deliver it. I'm sure the wheat is there too, but it's buried. A ton of ginger, garden flavor packed into what is a refreshing brew for sure. A bit one sided, but little complaints from the ginger lover in me. Not much else to say about this one. Like ginger? Like this beer.

On tap at Flying Lion, pours a hazy dull golden with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out light ginger upfront, with a light wheaty backbone. Flavour is very gingery - not much else. Pleasant spicy gingery notes without being too abrasive. Good stuff.

Sampler at the brewery. Oh yeah, even 5oz is too much for me. Pale beer, very hazy. All ginger, I don’t like ginger, usually I can handle it but this is too much. Could not force myself to care enough to explore past the ginger. Its not as poor as my rating, just not for me.
