Fourth beer of Lublin to Dublin series. Edition 2017 is a Rye Stout brimming with complex malts and roast barley. The addition of Polish Marynka and Lubelski hops creates an intense flavour profile of coffee and chocolate, with an abundance of rye malt (20% of rye malt and rye flakes) added to give an aftertaste with a spicy twist.

Bottled. Black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is coffee, some roasted malts, ashes, rye and liquorice along with toffee and some drief fruits. Flavour is dried fruits, liquorice, roasted notes, coffee, some chocolate and mild toffee.

500ml bottle. Jet black colour with small to average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige to tan head. Roasty, spicy, dark malty aroma, notes of coffee, liquorice, cocoa. Taste is minimally sweet and smoky, roasty and spicy dark malty, notes of coffee, cocoa, some liquorice, a touch of Mettwurst, treacle, minimally metallic overtones. Smooth, soft and silky palate.

Butelka 0,5 z datą ważności 28.02.2019 BARWA: ciemno brunatne w szerokim szkle praktycznie czarne, nie przejrzyste. PIANA: brązowa, średnia, średnio pęcherzykowa, trwała, opadając zdobi szkło. AROMAT: zaraz po otwarciu słodka mleczna czekolada, po przelaniu do szkła zaczynają dominować nuty zbożowo-ziemiste, w tle karmel, praktycznie pozbawione paloności, w aromacie trochę taki brown porter. SMAK: Podobnie jak w aromacie jednakrze wszystko kontruje średnia kawowo-ziołowa średnia goryczka , po jakimś czasie na finiszu utrzymuje się popiołowość. Minimalnie za wysokie wysycenie, średnio pełne. Ogólnie kolejny solidny stout w kooperacji z O'haras.

Tap at 100 piv. Quite good traditional FES. Roasty, full bodied, no astringency. Balanced, easy drinking, alcohol hidden well. Very good.

Bottle at Hundholmen, Bod�. Has a deep brown to black colour with a beige head. Sweet aroma of chocolate, coffee beans, ash, nougat and lactose. Well roasted flavour with more ash, cola, very dark chocolate and some smoke. Has a slick and silky mouth feel, and a medium body and bitterness. Roasted, tasteful and nice.

Barwa ciemna, piana koloru beżowego obfita i długo utrzymująca się. W aromacie klasycznie, połączenie kawy z gorzką czekoladą. W aromacie również klasycznie, bez zbędnych udziwnień. Gorycz na średnim poziomie, nasycenie również.

0.5 l bottle from Beerlovers, Vienna. Shared with Jerry and Nick. Dark brown, minimal head. Coffee and chocolate. Roasty. Very nice and smooth dryness. Medium body, very nice finish. Really well made.
