33cl blik van Vonk. Roodbruin, dunne beige kraag. Aroma van heel veel turf, whisky en sherry. Smaak is flink geturfd, rozijntjes, sherry, alcohol, whisky.

Täitsa meeldib siin see kooslus.

0.33 l can from 'Drinks & Gifts', best before June 2024. Clear, deep ruby with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, rather smoky-medicinal and slightly fruity aroma of lots of peat, iodine, raisins, caramel and a touch of vanilla. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, fairly smoky-medicinal and slightly fruity taste of raisins, prunes, caramel, peat, iodine and traces of vanilla, followed by a long, heavily smoky-medicinal, slightly bitter and gently warming finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very intense beer, really heavy on the peat but with a strong malty backbone to balance it. A great winter warmer, something to really sip on.

Can. Brown color. Toffee, dried fruit and especially oak and lots of peat in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with toffee and dried fruit. Lots of peat, whisky. Full bodied. The alcohol is fairly well hidden.

Can at Maakun’s. Arrrrr! Thanks Hui 🙏 Brown with white head. Roasty and grainy, massive peaty. Massive Peat. You should have seen him. Truly massive, this Peat. Anyway. Really smokey and grainy. So smokey actually that sjogro might take a liking to it. But! Sjogro really likes the beechwood resin drippin onto his smoketh malts, and this here honey seems not to has. --- Beer merged from original tick of Barrel Project 20.03 on 25 May 2020 at 00:06 - Score: 7. Can shared thanks to sjogro. Bit heavy dark brown with beige head. Massive peat, more peat, boozy watery malts, old dry wood. Soft brown sugar and alcohol. Over medium sweet and medium bitter. Over medium bodied. Massive massive watery peat smoke. Like a watered down Islay whisky, I don't get much beer. It's nice to drink
but in small quantities.
