Bügelverschlußflaeschle (Dank am See!): Pale golden to golden, not completely clear, small white layer, mainly vegetables in the mild bitter-sweet nose; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, neither soft nor too tart; traces of bread and vegetables in the astonishingly slightly lingering bitter-sweet finish. Drinkable....

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Some light metallical notes. Shy hints of lemon. Finish well balanced, a bit boring malty. Okay.

50cl bottle. A clear yellow golden beer with a white head. Aroma of straw, mild grainy malt. Taste of dry mid sweet pale malt, mild bitterness.

Herb-würziger, milder süß-malziger Beginn. Geringe Bitterkeit, geringfügig Karamell, weich herb im Mittelteil, mittellanger Abgang. Süffig, gelungen. 10/11/11/9/7/10

bottle from local supermarket. Pale strawy-golden yellow, small white head. Grainy-hoppy nose with a touch of alcohol. Light-bodied, decent malty base, and quite a punchy bitter hoppy character, resiny and slightly grassy with a herbal touch. Pleasant carbonation. Really quite nice, much better than expected - a pleasant surprise.
