Draft at Birreria Paradiso in DC. Looks good. Very cloudy yellow orange color with a big white head. Lemony wheat aroma. Mouthfeel is a touch watery, sort of a let down. Creamy and smooth, some vanilla. Good, but certainly not great.

11.2 ounce bottle from the Wine Cellar in Harrisonburg, VA. Pours a hazy lemon yellow with a medium white head. Average head retention and lacing. Very dry aroma, yeasty with some fruity citrus notes. Very subtle spice. Taste is citrus, a musty maltiness and spice. Medium bodied.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a creamy chalk white head. Aroma is solid citrusy and sweet at once. Sweet initial flavour, closely followed by a citrusy note. Mild wheat base, creamy texture too. Mild coriander spice note mixed with a rather milky base flavour. Ends citric and milky - smooth.

Bottle. A refreshing wit, perhaps a bit too sweet, but at 3 percent it was surprisingly flavorful. Hazy, pale yellow/straw body below a white head. Nice aroma of coriander and lemon with notes of wheat and a hint of perfume. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly tart. Dry, slightly sour finish.

Hazy green-yellow beer with small, but dense & stable white head, fed by vigourous carbonation. Terribly perfumed, coriander being the main constituent. Further a bit floral & citrus-like. Lemonlike flavour, surounded by mainly coriander flavoured beer. More or less decent balance sour-(malt)sweet, very perfumey flavours. Quite empty palate, just a bit wheatslickness. So this is the basic beer for all the horrid concoctions? In itself it is not a bad witbier, just quite perfumed, which is probably deliberate (still, just a bit too much of the infernal wheat, IMO). For the lovers of the style.
