hazy brown colour, large, creamy and long lasting beige-ish ecru head; aroma of clove, banana, toasted rye bread, bread crust, some caramel and yeasty notes; taste of bready, caramel, banana and clove notes; really good one!

50cl Fles van de Bierkoning. Troebel donkerbruine kleur, gebrokenwitte kraag. Zacht-zoete geur van banaan, karamel, iets kruidig, vanille, hint van gebrande mout, smaak volgt, romig mondgevoel. Lichte to medium body. Zeer smakelijk.

Bottle from biershop Bayern. Murky brown colour, nice beige foam. Nose of banana, some citrus. Taste is malty, light tart, some banana. Good.

500 ml bottle. Cloudy dark brown, foamy head. Caramel, citrus, banana, clove. Mild dryness. Light bodied, watery texture, fizzy carbonated, dry watery finish. Not great.

Bottle on Viking Grace. Smell of banana, yeast, bread. Hazy bronze colour, high white head. Aroma of wheat, banana, bread, yeast. Malty finish. Sweet. Heavy body, lively carbon. Ok.

Blind tasting. Pours dark copper to amber brown, good fluffy white head. Medium high stability. Smell is banana, roasted malts, chocolate, médium high intensity. Taste is full, tad bitter at the start, quickly turning into more sweetness. Banana, some cloves (minor), mild, very mild chocolaty malts.

Thuis uit een flesje, halve liter, gedeeld met Alwin. Bruine kleur, goed aroma, prima smaak.
