50 cl bottle. Yellowish-brown, cloudy, good foam. Aroma and taste: caramel-wheat, yeasty, fruity sourness, banana. not bad.

Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass dark brown, almost black. Nice head. Fine malty yeasty aroma. Starts mild, malty, shy roasty touch, mild earthy notes. Finish yeasty, more and more washy. Could show some more character. Okay.

0,5 l bottle. A cloudy dark brown with a more than one finger pale beige head in the glass. Clove, banana, yeast and dark wheat on the nose. Taste starts dry, a lot of yeast and toasted wheat, fruity orange with banana in the second row. Some bready bitterness. Above average carbonated. Not bad.

Keg at Hofbrau bar, Hamburg. Pours light hazy mid brown with ruby tinges, foamy white cap. Aroma: soft dough, caramel, banana esters, clove. Taste: moderate sweet & light bitter, sugary, bread, caramel, banana esters. Light to medium bodied with foamy carbonation.

Malzig, leicht schokoladig, recht mild gehopft. Kohlensäure maximal medium, also eher weich. Grundsolide, bodenständig und lecker. Könnte allerdings ein bisschen geschmacksintensiver sein. Noch nicht wässrig, aber etwas zu süffig. Mehr Druck wäre nicht schlecht.
