Sampled from tap at the brewpub. Clear, golden with a white head. Slightly sweetish, fairly grassy-spicy and slightly fruity aroma of fresh grass, some citrus and hints of grains. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, fairly grassy-spicy, almost herbal, slightly fruity taste of grains, fresh grass, some lemon and hints of pepper, followed by a short, medium bitter, fairly dry and rather grassy-spicy finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice, crisp Pils, best of the bunch at Salm, lovely hoppy aroma!

On tap at Salm Brau, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is odd, with butterscotch, straw and a strange herbal character. Flavour is a bit cleaner, with straw, cereal malt, and a soft of herbal, fungal character. Not the best pils - seems a tad off.

Tap at the source (just as salm bräu pils). Pours hazy golden. Aroma is sweet, malty. Flavor is sweet and malty, fruits, some bitterness, sugar. Finish is slightly bitter. Overall: good, but would except pils to be more hoppy/bitter.

Draught at the brewpub.
Yellow, moderate hazy body, with a medium, creamy, lacing, white head.
Aroma of grains, bread, grass, flowers, honey
Tastes pretty similar.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes moderate sweet, grainy, grassy, a bit floral, a bit bready.

Nice one. Quaffable and clean, with nice grainy notes throughout. Not very bitter for the style maybe, but really solid stuff.
