Back in 2021.

Bottle from Lupe Pintos. Hazy golden body with a thick white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pear, dried apricot and yeast. Flavour of five spice, stewed pear and earth. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Delicious and well balanced.

Bottle at a tasting. Med-full body, very high carbonation. Moderate warmth, rather a sipper. Assertive phenols, spices of all kinds, not only coriander and cardamom, but those two mainly. Light leftover honeyish maltiness. Very good. A bit citrusy/zesty too.

Bottle from Yamaya. Light blond colour with nice white head. Aroma is very Belgian! Yeasty, citrus fruity, sweet, herbal and a bit of booze. Taste is good too, initial fruitiness, citrus and berries, then smooths out into a soft yeasty and slightly creamy finish. No sign of the alcohol. Nice sweetness too. Really nice and quite difficult to pin down individual flavours. Comes all in a big tasty rush. Dangerously drinkable.

75cl bottle (7y old; BBF: end 2015) from L’ Auberge de Poteaupré (bought 06/04/2019). F: medium, white, average retention. C: gold, hazy. A: malty, mellow fruity, oxidized tones, caramel, bready, honey, bit spicy, citrus. T: sweet malty, mellow fruity, bit sweet apricot jam, light vinous soft alcohol, caramel, honey, bready, yeasty, bit spicy, bit orange peels but in a jam way, still nice soft carbonation and medium body, it was bought directly at the source so I suppose proper cellaring, interesting experience not so complex but still great beer for me when I take in to account the age.
