Bottle at home. Aroma of citrus, spicy yeast, juniper berries, peppery notes, lemongrass, spicy notes, hint of hops. Flavour is light sweet with an equally light bitter finish. Body is light to medium with a strong carbonation. Refreshing and aromatic Saison.

Bottle. Pale blonde, hazy. Lemongrass in the herbal aroma. Coreander. Spicy lemony flavor. Thinnish. A mess of herbs without too much balance.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, orangey golden colour with average, frothy, rapidly diminishing, white head. Fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of gooseberry, yellow apple, a wheaty touch, some yeasty spiciness, some citrus. Taste is yeasty spicy, fruity, hints of apple, gooseberry, a touch of lemongrass, fruity-spicy and slightly bitter finish with a touch of fruit parings.

330 ml. bottle @ home. I don’t see a date. Lightly hazy golden, visible rising bubbles, patchy off-white head. Nose is weird spoiled spices, esters, herbal lemon, far too thick BE style yeast & light fish guts. Overly fizzy. Overly yeasty with weird spoiled floral lemon, white sugar, esters, fish guts, plain, metallic, heavy nasty spoiled yeast, cheap lemon. Overly fizzy, yeasty, bland at best BE-styled beers with the usual characteristics of the smaller lesser offerings in this genre that I don’t get. Some odd lightly bitter spice in the back that is like juniper berry. The special ingredients sounded largely promising but they are barely there & don’t work in the shape that they are in. Overly Belgian in a bad way. Weird ingredients plus sub-par Belgian really equals saison these days, I keep falling for it. As long as I will keep falling for it, they will keep making it.
