Bottle, 6.2%. Good roasted aroma, nicely rough smoke. Black colour. Good stable bubbly light brown head. The flavour is roasted and smokey with a nice sweet liquorice note. Dark malts and malty bread notes. Good smokey finish.

Bottle at beer time. Pours deep ruby brown, nose is chocolate, liquorice, blackcurrant, light smoke, taste is similar, chewy, smokier in the finish.

Bière 33 cl bue chez Tzitziki à Armeni, crête. Robe noire opaque. Nez rôti. Bouche très rôtie et peu sucrée, amertume du malt grillé, brûlé, beaucoup de caractère, très réussie.

Bottle from Fin, thanks from one smoke beer lover to another! Drunk after a Greek style veal kebab and while eating a Vanilla Krapfen. Leaping to get out of the bottle, darkest brown with a big frothy tan head. Very smoky and dark-roast-toasty in the nose. Flavor is bold, lots of carb carries the smooth smoke flavor right where it belongs. More on the dry side, refreshing after the pastry and hazy fads. Carbonation might even be a bit too much for a Porter, I'll give it a swirl. Big hearty mouthfeel like a savory Texas chili! Great stuff from Greece.

At home Sunday 27th September 2020 picked up from Sifanto, Sifnos, Greece . Had this after a short walk of 6km near Eching, Nr Landshut, we are sat outside back home, it was glorious sun but now sun starting to drop. Listening to The Murder Capital - When I Have Fears just eaten a wonderful lamb kebab. Pours dark brown with a light beige head, chocolate and a little smokiness, soft mouthfeel, a little tangy. This is very good.

0.33l bottle. Black body with a thin light brown head. Aroma and taste of chocolate, smoke, cherries, caramel and floral hops. Thicker than medium body with an oily texture. Not so complex but good nevertheless.

25 September 2019. At Crop, Heraklion. Shared with the lovely Anke! Pours hazy black with a lasting, small, frothy, beige head. Aroma of vanilla (ice cream), tobacco, espresso, walnut, fondant, fig, toast, roasted nuts, cream. Taste is light malty sweet, restrained cream, brown bread, dark fruits & some nuts; bitter core of toast, coffee ground, smoky tobacco & earthy accents. Dry, earthy hoppy finish, lingering toast, roasted nuts & tobacco. Medium body, slick-creamy texture, soft carbonation. Good smoky notes in an intense Porter.

bottle from b is for beer, crete, greece. L0480 date 19.11.2019 (best before date i presume) very very dark brown, light brown head. Aroma of roasted malts. flavor is roasted malts, smoked malts, faint charred wood. mineral waterish carbonation. Decent porter, slightly roasted - not sure i would call it robust though.

Bottle from Rouhlas, thanks! Almost black. Creamy caramelly roast aroma. Malty sweet roasty flavor with licorice. Thin. Hard to spot the smoke.
