Pours a dark brown, opaque from cloudiness and dense carbonation, producing a massive over flowing tan head. Aroma is funky green-apple tart, bready, yeasty, with a background of tropical fruit. Acetic sour flavor but not overwhelmingly sour, there’s a good sweet background there rich gives a rounded full palate. Finish is a touch resiny, or minerally...funky bleu cheesy.

Bottle shared by Shane, thanks! Poured a murky dark brown with a large creamy brown head that lasted throughout the beer and laced. Aroma had note of sour fruits with some funk and dark grains backing throughout. Flavor had dark grains in the start with growing sourness and a hint of funk in the back.

Tampa Weekly Gathering @BT Brandon-on tap–pours a foamy tan head that laces and dark copper color. Aroma is funky, vinuous/tart/sour fruit, yeasty. Taste is funky, vinuous/tart/sour fruit, yeasty, medium malt-burnt toffee. Good effervescence. Would like to keep Sea Bass on a shelf for 6–12 months.

Bottle. Pours very murky brown. Nose is tart fruit, granny apple and funk. Taste is very funky, sour mash, caramelized granny apple and prune. Interesting.

SeaBass has never looked so good as this tap pour right here at the Brass Tap in Wesley Chapel, FL pouring deep murky-muddy-bogginess, very SeaBass, with nice tan head and some sheet lacing. It has a nice fruity nose with cherry, raspberry (and modestly moldy citrus as it warms) and then moving into tart wild yeastiness. The taste is a bit more tart than the nose led on with a pleasing initial pulse of berry juice sweetness that gets mowed over by yeasty tartness that tries to move into funky goodness but doesn’t really get going. By midway berry and apple notes surge forward only to be beaten down by this beer’s yeasty tart SeaBass essence. It dries out into the finish. This is a mouth full of tart-witty and full up very-funny-guys SeaBass-y tartness. I think a bit of cellar time will round this out nicely.
I think I may lay SeaBass down for a while.
