One of the three beers in this Delhaize series, made in limited quantities of 4000 bottles each in 2012. IBU is shown as 23. Snow white, sticky, stable head, warm orange blond colour, hazy. Strong flowery hoppy nose, grapefruit, ginger, bitter honey, mint, orange peel; smooth and refreshing palate, citrus touch, soft malt sweetness with below average body, long and oily, spicy, resinous and floral hop bitterness in the finish, with a lightly sweetish accent which is apparently typical for Cascade. Interesting.

Bottle at Hasselt Beer Festival, Hasselt, Limburg, Belgium 12.11.11 in company of Loz, Jackie, Simon and David. The colour is a sort of dark gold/light orange there is a filmy white head atop. The aroma is a little subtle, the flavour is crisp with nice citrus fruitiness throughout. Soft in mouth, good beer and I ended up liking this one best, the others plumped for the Nelson Sauvin version. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Bottle thanks to Joes at ‘Zieke Zuiden Tasting II’. Hazy orange color, small yeast particals floating in the beer. Full sized creamy vast white head. Smell is nicely fruity and hoppy. Taste bitter, hops, fruits. Decent carbonation, medium body.

75cl @ Delhaize.

75 cl. Bottle from Pluto. Dry citrus nose, dusty, rather dull. Sweet lemon flavor, malt is a bit sweet but still clean. Some honey, biscuits, rather dry, with a soft body. Liked the NZ version better, though this too was good.
