A Blonde Ale brewed entirely with Nelson Sauvin hops, a New Zealand varietal that melds beautifully with a simple bill of pale malts. This is a true "session beer" and one that does not make any compromises. It has a delicate bouquet of passionfruit and a slight lemon flavor that will surely quench your thirst.

Can pour into taster glass from the brewery. Appearance is cloudy pale yellow (sort of urine-like) with less than finger-width off-white head with poor retention and fair lacing. Aroma is tropical fruit, citrus, grapefruit and pine. Taste is bittersweet grapefruit, late cracker, vague herb. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with watery texture, average carbonation and mostly dry, bitter finish. Overall, this takes a golden ale to such a different level that it seems hard to call it a golden ale. However, a great, complex aroma that the taste doesn't quite match and the texture is a bit watery.

Can. Hazy yellow color with small white head. Aroma is super fruity passion fruit, mango, grapey, thin biscuity malts. Taste is passion fruit, grassy, light bready. Silky mouthfeel with low carbonation. Very good for the ABV!

0,1l taster at home courtesy of Sander, big thanks. yellow murky color, very small white head. smells of oats, passion fruit, spices, bit grassy, herbal, light exotic fruit notes. nice. light body, very light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earth, spices, bit herbal, grassy, peppery, ciitric. finishes light to medium bitter with notes of earth, herbs and some grassy notes. quite nice one, rather full body for the ABV, smooth drinking.

Can: Poured a hazy and cloudy yellow color ale with a medium size white foamy head with OK retention and some good lacing. Aroma of tropical fruits with dry leafy hops notes is quite enjoyable. Taste is dominated by tropical fruits with quite a bit of residual sugar notes and some leafy hops notes with a somewhat dry finish. Body is full with limited filtration and good carbonation. Another enjoyable and refreshing beer form TH.

16 oz. can. Dated 3-28-18. With Ha! HA! Stamped on the bottom. Cloudy gold and hazy in color with soapy head. Moderate herbal and earthy pine aromas. Taste is again earthy and faint pine on finish. To me this doesn't come off as Nelson at all. It did deisplay the soft mouthfeel and appropriate light body. Good, but I am not standing in line for it.
