Can to tulip.
Appearance: dark purple in color with a sly transparency and a finger and a half's worth of pink foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: full on thick black currants - tart to sour and semi-sweet; touch of grassy hops underneath
Flavor: the black currants are once again packing the tart to sour to semi-sweet blend very nicely; barely any aftertaste but seemed somewhat tart and semi-sweet
Texture: medium bodied; good sipper; tart abrasion on the tongue; finishes crisp with the black currants
Overall: nicely done AWA with black currants, would absolutely have again.

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a dark purple with medium pink head that lasts. The aroma is strong currant, oak, funk, earth. Slick body, berry, currant, oak, light tartness, dry finish, very good.
