Frothy white head stayed on a finely carbonated, dark golden coloured body. Yeast, banana & caramel aroma. Medium to full bodied. Very sharp on the palate. Dry & clean on the back. Citrus, tea, red berries, orange, over stewed, spices, fruit & jam. Strange to be called a Tripel. Reminds me of Strong English IPA. Decent nevertheless. Worth a dabble

330ml bottle from Vanuxeem. Pours clear gold, large fluffy white head. Aroma is soft yeasty, lightly sweet. Taste is lightly sweet, lightly herbal with full carbonation. Can’t work out if it’s my palate but the beer seems to struggle to wake up and provide the bright yeasty sweet flavour I was expecting. Has fleeting bready, candy sugar elements but dries out before they can really blossom. Bit disappointing really.

33cl bottle. Pale golden pour, with a coarse grained near-white head. Smells like Belgian yeast, pilsner hops and a bit of caramel. Tastes sweet with an added medicinal bitterness, taste notes including Belgian yeast, corn, bread, spices, bitter herbs, a hint of lambic funkiness.

Clear golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is sweet malt, toffee, candied fruit rinds. Taste comprises caramel, biscuit, more sweet malt, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a bit of added boost. Typical for style ... nothing I’d revisit.
