33cl bottle. Golden colour with a beige head, good lasting and nice lacing. Aroma is alcoholic and yeasty. Flavor is light sweet, some sugary and caramelish traces, slightly bready but with a high carbonation. The final is moderate sweet and lightly bittery. Body is medium to high.

Gut! 7/9/12/11/7/11

Fra fat på De Groote Witte Arend i Antwerpen 29 Apr 11. Gyldenbrun. Medium skum. Svak maltaroma. Grei smak av frukt & litt nøtter. Litt mye kullsyre. Litt bitterhet i ettersmaken. Et øl på det jevne.

Re-rate July 23rd 2013, Cafe D’n Bel, Bladel, from tap. Clear orange golden color, medium sized white head. Smell is a bit disappointing: a slight sourish hint coming through the floral, yeasty fruityness. Taste is better, but underneath the nice fruityness, slightly floral flavor, there’s still a slight sourish hint that imo shouldn’t be there. Way less good than the first time I rated it from bottle. -- Old rating: A little above average Belgian tripel. Decent color, decent smell, nice taste and a well balanced palate. [7-3-8-4-14]

Quite a lot of yeast, even when poured very slowly and carefull. Smells lovely, but the taste can’t live up to the smell. Didn’t really love the mouthfeel, but it’s not bothering also.

House beer from tap, 330ml, good amount, at De Grotte Witte Arend. Nice artwork on the glass, lots of dotted spots. Deep amber body colour. The smell is malt-fruity added by spices. The taste follows suit with fresh fruits, some hints of apricot and spiced malts. Integrated alcohol and well bodied. Strong and tasty (Antwerpen, 29.04.2011).
