Die sorgfältige Komposition aus Weizenmalz und schonend gerösteten, karamellisierten Spezialmalzen verleiht Maisel’s Weisse Dunkel seine schwarz-rote Mahagonifarbe und seine große Geschmacksvielfalt. Beim Geruch dominiert der malzig-würzige Charakter in harmonischem Einklang mit einer typischen, leicht fruchtigen Weissbiernote, bevor sich im Antrunk ein zartbitterer, vollmundig-würziger Geschmack verschiedenster Malzaromen entfaltet. Diese bestimmen angenehm das weitere Geschmackserlebnis und verbinden sich mit Frucht- und Nelken-Aromen zu einem vollmundigen und süffigen Weissbiergenuss.

Hazy dark brown with a small white head. Smell is malty, bready. Taste too. A bit watery texture, but an ok beer.

Mahogany brown, cloudy, tall typical for the style head. Stable retention, thick lacing. The aroma is intensive and attractive. Lots of wheat, fruit, cinnamon, clove, yeast. Light to medium body. Thin texture. The flavour is rather dry with roasty profile, also bready, with well blended hop bitterness. Delicious. In the ending the hops become more obvious. Very nice.

Bottle, smallish creamy head, cloudy brown color with faint reddish taints, aroma of bubblegum anf fruit, flavor of bubblegum and light roasted wheat. Drinkable but very boring.

hazy dark brown with red hue, beige head. starting aroma is very strong banana, toast and spice comes after. taste not very sweet toasty bananabread, some caramel, maybe a bit of choco, clove, spice. med body and carbonation..

Keg at The Hanging Bat. Pours murky brown, no real head. Aromas of banana, light spice, toffee. Taste is more toffee and banana. Sweet finish. OK.

Pours brown with big tan head. Aroma is wheat, banana, and a bit of spice. Flavour is toasted and banana, hint of caramel. I prefer their hefeweizen.

0,5L bottle, BB 30.07.2015. Pours dark brown with off-white head. The head stays. Aroma is fruits, banana, caramel. Flavor is sweet, some sourness, fruity, citrus, caramel. Body is thin. Overall: I love hefeweizens, but even the top dunkelweizens are very dull compare to them, this is no exception.
