In collaboration with Metallica, this beer represents the cataclysmic collision of two uncompromising supernatural forces. It's a crisp and refreshing Pilsner that, much like the band, transcends genres, shatters preconceptions and challenges convention.

It's on. It's time to get started. To crank things up. To get loud. That thumping you feel in your chest isn't your imagination. It's your heart. It's life. It's the rockin' tunes. It's your inspiration wanting to break out. It ain't gonna sit there waiting, so motherfucking grab it. This is a collaboration in the truest sense between two entities that were born on the fringes. We've navigated life from a different perspective. We imagined things differently from what they were, and set about using our art to change the world according to our vision. We started being misunderstood by many, and loved by few. Today that's the same...but that 'few' has become 'more'. A LOT more. That's you, my friend, and we're stoked you're with us on this journey. The day is winding down. It's time to get started. No more waiting. It's time to get LOUD. It's time to Enter Night.

Can. Golden, clear, snow-white foam. Aroma: citrus and fruity, tangerines, malt, light spice and sweetness. Taste: sweetish, spice, herbs, dill, good hop bitterness, fruity, unusual.

Pours clear gold and smells of grainy malt and mild hops. It has decent hops bitterness and a light body. It’s well made but nothing I could get excited about.

50cl can from La Cervezita Nuestra, BCN.

16 oz from a six pack. Aroma is lemony, bready malt, grain. Pours lightly hazy golden with a two finger bone-white head with good retention. Taste is highly bitter for style with a hint of malt sweetness. It has a graininess to it that is preventing me from putting this at the top of my favorite craft pilsners, but this is still pretty damn good.

Stone Berlin version, 0.5L can bought in an Auchan supermarker in Budapest (!!!!) - so the beer Nirvana is closer and closer to Budapest :) cloudy pale yellow colour, medium sized dense white head; aroma and taste of melon, marmalade, grapefruit and some piney notes; well, definitely not a typical pilsener (in my opinion, IPL would be more suitable to describe its style)...but who cares?! it's a perfect beer - probably one on the best (if not the best) lager I've ever tasted! (so, my rating is a bit biased by the fact it is a lager; objectively, I would say that it is around 4.0 - 4.1)

Ok, got this pounder can from vintage for $3 but it doesn't say arrogant on it. Olfactory of mild hops. You would think if it was arrogant, it would be big alky content. Its not, and you would think it would be tuff on the taste buds, well it is. Yes, it has a rubbery feel to it like so many mild veggie IPA, perhaps more like a session IPA, heheh. Well, anyway, except for that stupid ass IPA effect, it does have the piercing typical bite of a pils to it. Well, tho not of the real pils, like that of the old country pils, but certainly like the straight up domestic varieties that say they a wannah bee real old country civilized pils but really isn't. What else can be said? Except that this beer does not rise to the occasion of a real arrogant stone beer. However, its really not a pils and its more like an india pale lager, HAH!

Medium strong hops smell. Taste- is hops bitterness, bit to the hoppy side for me.
