(On tap @ Witchstock 2018, Toronto, Sept 29/18) Pours deep amber with a small whitish head. Notes of fresh blueberry, moderate blackberry, malt with some bread and light caramel sweetness, fruit skins, barrel tannins and some wine, wet earth funk but not excessively funky. Drying into the finish, oak and tannins. Medium-bodied, slick, softly carbonated. Not really super fruit forward, the somewhat malty and barrel-forward character reminds me of other Forest & Main and the fruit adds a nice accent.
