Pushing through the thick underbrush of Quebec’s
primeval forests, set on mapping this seemingly endless new
country. Ever onward, discovering hidden treasures
destined to become the core of our people. Big Rock’s
Maple Lager bottles that spirit of adventure, entwined with
the lifeblood of our most iconic tree. A solid, cool lager with
just the right amount of pure Canadian maple sweetness.

330ml bottle. Pours a clear amber-copper with a small, short lived, fizzy, off-white head that dissipates to an outer ring, leaving spotty lace. Mild, sweet aroma of bready pale malt, caramel and light maple. Sweet flavour of bready malt, caramel and maple syrup with a dry, slightly bitter finish. Light body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. The maple is a lot more subtle than I thought it would be, which is a good thing or this could have been a total mess.
