(Re-rate, keg at Pikkulintu Puotila, 20241018) The beer poured nearly black. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had toasted malts, molasses, grass and chocolate. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were toasted malts, chocolate, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste had toasted malts, lightly burnt malts and bitterness. Tasty. Old rating: Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 18.12.2019, from Alko, 20190713) The beer clear and dark brown. Aroma had molasses, caramel and toasted malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, molasses, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, sweet and bitter. A surprisingly nice malty brew. 7-4-7-3-13

Draught @ bock’s brewery, Vaasa. Poured brown color with almost no head. Bready malty, sweaty, mild spices. Flavor has bread, malts, hops, sweetness. Long sweet finish.

Draught@Bock’s, Vaasa. Amber colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is nicely malty, but has a quite nice floral and grassy hoppiness to it. Flavour is crisp sweet and biscuity malts with some floral and grassy notes. A very clean doppelbock, which actually makes you want to have more.

Tap at Bock’s. Opaque color, small beige head. Medium-bodied to full-bodied. Aroma is malty, rye bread, hints of caramel and even some licorice. Bready, malty, a bit sweetish doppelbock. Some German hoppyness in the finish. Robust clean doppelbock.
