A very dark brown beer, a head is small and beige. Aroma has syrup and maltyness, breadyness, light roastiness and hint of chocolate. Taste has breadyness, roastiness, pretty strong maltyness. Medium+ bodied. Complex enought. Good beer.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a deep brown with an orange hue and a tiny, rough, beige head. Thick aroma of molasses and dark dried fruit paired with a little roasted malts. Rich, sweet maltiness with more of the above. Low carbonation and a subdued bitterness. Delicious. 050525

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Near black, small head Caramelly, ashy nose. Sweet with near full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel, Caramel and ashy licorice, some coffee. Some roasty malt bitterness. More focus on caramel and hard roast malt than malt depth, so not very doppelbock-ish.

Draught @ SOPP Tampere 2020 Aroma has sweet malt and chocolate. Flavour has chocolate, sweet malt. Unfortunately the metallic vibes typical to the style are present. Not bad anyway.
