Cask-conditioned at the North Yorkshire beeriodical, the Seven Stars, Bristol 10/12/2012. Deep gold with a slight, off-white head. Sweet cereals, with some barley sugar, touch of fruit and moderately bitter finish. So so.

50cl bottle, batch#2711, BB 10/2012 from BeerCity.

Cask, handpumped half pint at The Cloister Bar in Edinburgh early on a Sunday afternoon. Clear copper-golden body, sparse head, but good lacing on the glass. Fruitlike caramel smell and flavour. Finish off with a citric bitter touch [26.10.2008].

Cask at the GBBF 2008. Golden colour, minimal head. Lovely strong aroma of butterscotch and caramel. The flavour has notes of butterscotch and malts, but is still fairly dry, with a reasonably hoppy finish.
