Crisp and aromatic, this boldly-hopped American ale balances notes of citrus and tea-like earthiness from American hops with a subtle German malt base.

Keg at Brewdog Shepโ€™s bush. A dark orange coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is sweet floral berry, light jammy fruits, Honey, hint of lemon. Flavour is semi sweet, honey, berry fruit, blackberry, crisp pithy lemon. Palate is semi sweet with frothy crisp carbonation. Decent pale ale.

Clear medium to deep amber colour, small foamy off-white head, mostly diminishing, patchy lacing. Aroma pale malts, lemon, grapefruit, some pine. Taste medium sweet and bitter, citrusy, bit piney, grassy hops. Lingering bittersweet aftertaste, light spicy note. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Pleasant and solid example of a mild apa.

355 ml bottle into shaker. Slightly hazy bronze beer with thin white sudsy head. A few tiny bubbles ascend. A slight zinginess, lingering finish. A bit fruity, a touch of malt, some subtle hop touchs. This is a beer that develops with every swallow. As it warms more flavours appear. But itโ€™s so easy drinking Iโ€™ve finished it! Shouldโ€™ve bought two........

Mostly clear gold with a white head. Citrusy resiny aroma. The flavor is well balanced, slightly bitter. Much less hop flavor than the aroma hinted at, but a decent Pale Ale.

Victory Headwaters Pale Ale 5.2% A matte copper color with an off-white head of foam and a juicy hop bouquet of citrus, mango, papaya and possibly mint with a good malt base. Medium-light bodied with a crisp dry finish. It's got a well balanced flavor profile with good sweetness and a light bitter hop bite. Herbal, lemon and some tea like notes. A solidly satisfying Pale Ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from Tanakaya. Faint grassy hop nose with fruity esters and some malt aromas. Taste is well-balanced but boring. Quite malty mid palate with a dry, grassy hop finish. Maybe some light citrus. Fairly bitter. Pretty average. --- Beer merged from original tick of Headwaters Ale on 12 Mar 2016 at 20:09 - Score: 6. Original review text: Quite average pale ale in a can. Malty and fruity, light hoppy bitterness. Bit of grass.

Golden color, hazy. With the malt, there is a hint of sour puke in the aroma. The flavor is based on lean, dry, biscuity malts, with strong bitterness, and light herbaceous touch.
Classic Pale Ale, nothing exciting, quite clean.
