Clear dark amber with large white head. Loads of cardarmum in the aroma and flavor. Christmas in a bottle..., but a bad christmas.

Bottle from cdumler, who says this is awful and practically begged me to take one of his last two bottles. Pours reddish brown with a small head that disappears quickly. Aroma smells like a spice rack and not much else. Taste is a little less harsh, but still has strong cinnamon and nutmeg notes. A little watery.

Bottle from Utobeer. Chestnut colour with disappearing beige head. Spicy cola bottle aroma. Argh, this is pretty horrible, just a mess of hops and an empty beer beneath it. Oh god, I must stop drinking this.

Subdued aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, and a touch of mint. Orange color, with a thin vanishing head. It tastes spicy at first, with an excessive amount of nutmeg. At midpalate, the flavor turns to rather low quality malts. The quiet flavor of mint is present throughout. I have never had anything like it, but that isn’t a good thing. The balance is poor and the flavors aren’t welcome in beer, IMO.

OK, I must admit that when I saw the word ’warmer’ on the label, I was thinking about a high alky beer. Turns out this is rather light, just a little above 5% and I’m glad. When I pop the lid I get a noseful of sweet spices. Look is rather darkish Iced tea with hints of orange colors in there. Light brownish head that fades rather quickly. Taste is as expected for a spiced brew. Has a strong presence of spices but it is not exactly over the top as with many spiced brews. Almost makes me want to heat it up in the microwave like a spiced tea. Below average carbonation, but certainly is present. Mild bitter bite is associated with this brew with the completion of each swallow. Rather mild mannered and friendly for a veggie/spice and herb brew. I’m not one for spiced brews and this is just another average example of the genre. Will not purchase again.
