Slightly Hazy straw with retained white, fluffy head. Great patterns down glass. Overt spicy esters and Clive. Flavor is massive spice and clove. Slight rose petal. Tastes highly alcoholic despite the ABV. Kind of taste like an imperial saison. Interesting take on winter beers.

Bottle drank in the hotel in Nashville - picked up at Shenanigan’s in Lexington. Pours mostly clear gold with a frothy white head. Effervescent. The nose has wheat, yeast, lemon, biscuits, bubblegum, other phenolic notes. Light to medium sweet flavor with some sugary wheat, hints of white bread, white grape, hay, lemon candies, dough. Medium bodied with average carbonation and massaging texture. Fairly sweet on the finish, with further biscuits, melon, tangerine, some lemon meringue, straw. Easygoing and drinkable.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Cigarette City. Aroma is yeast, fruity esters, Noble hops, clove, hint of citrus, banana. Appearance is pale yellow with greenish tinge, attractive sparkle and three finger-width fizzy white head with decent retention and minimal sudsy lacing. Taste is German malts and yeast with mild sweet fruity esters, back end bitterness and mild clove. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with average to lively carbonation and lasting tart yeasty finish. Overall, a decent wheat ale without anything too noteworthy.
