Can at Ryan's; 7.7% ABV
Black colour, brown compact head, reduces quickly. Mild aroma of roasted malt, some smoke, smells like peat. Medium body; dark caramel and burnt sugar flavour, with a touch of heavy roast, bit of earthy coffee; if there's any smoke, it's hidden by the other elements.
Good.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg July 29, 2024; abv on can is 7.7% abv; bottom of the can stamps that it has Ethiopia Yukro coffee; beer rating #8300). Very dark brown with full beige head. Chocolate, feint tobacco, dry roast. Not picking up much of any smoke, Balanced, good base beer, coffee is nicely integrated.

Can picked up from Beer Republic Webshop, Berkel-Enschot, Netherlands and consumed at Wohnmobilstellplatz, Salzburg, Friday 1st November 2024. Pours mid brown with a nice large creamy edging towards tan head. Coffee comes through on the nose, it's a touch roasty. There's a milky coffee'ness' here, it's medium sweet coffee floods through, like it. This is very good.

Very good. Aroma's are an excellent blend of dark malt, roast, and a hint of smoke. Flavors are similar to nose, everything gets amplified a bit, add in a touch of molasses. Excellent balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Slightly soft mouth, a touch chalky with good body. Satisfying.

16oz can from Tavour. Murky brown pour, thin layer of beige head. Roasty aroma with heavy coffee notes. Taste is roasty, coffee, a hefty bitterness, nutty, light smoke.

Given how much I care about UT, not idea if nitro is actually a separate rating. Pitch black color. Big frothy light brown head. Fresh coffee poured into a medium heavy stout. Silky sweet. Not overly complex but nice.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Jet black pour. Frothy tan head. Aroma is dark malt, dark chocolate and dark coffee. A bit of smoke as well. Flavor is deceptively smooth. Layers of complexity start with sweet roasted malt, dark roasted coffee, bittersweet chocolate and mild smokiness. Some resiny pine hops on backend. Well made and extremely flavorful.

Pint can - labeled 7.7% - dark brown pour - moderate lace - heavy on the coffee, with some cream sweetness, chocolate - mild smoke, but deep, almost burnt roastiness - nose presents much more smoke than the flavor, leaving me a little disappointed - nicely creamy and soft texture - earthy maltiness throughout - a mixed bag, but ultimately enjoyable.
Better than the Imperial version. Or more balanced. Still ashy smoky but some good coffee roast ad well. Shared with Bryce 🍻

Dark brown, thin head. The smoke is light and malts on the burnt side. Medium body, has some dryness. Touch of malt sweetness. It’s not bad - the sort of beer I would have absolutely loved in the late 90s but it’s mostly just ok now.
