Our ideal IPA wasn’t on the menu, so we made it. Resisting piling up a variety of hops like toppings on a burger, we held the pickles and did things our way. Sandwiching together light malts, clean Cali ale yeast and early harvest Simcoe hops. Just what the brewers ordered.

Can from Sainsbury's Supermarket, Blackley. Hazed golden-amber with a frothy head. Creamy, sweet fruity, citrus, some bitterness, somewhat towards milkshake in design. Fruit in aroma with some pineapple here and in its aftertaste.

Can from Tesco. It pours hazy orange with medium fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, bright and juicy, peachy, nectarine, apricot, persimmon, peace ice tea, touch of grass and apricot jam. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, pithy and zesty, orange citrus, tangerine, grapefruit, resin, pine, peach, apricot, grass and some spiciness with a lingering bitter - dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Well put together. Moreish and quenching. Solid.

330ml can. Poured a clear golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is malt, grassy, light citrus, light floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, fresh, weedy, light citrus, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Can from Dantomlinson - Cheers! Rocky white head left a froth on a hazy golden body. Pith, resin & hoppy aroma. Medium bodied, nicely carbonated with clean finish. Hoppy, sweet citrus, peach, confectionery & tropical tastes with bitter tangy citrus finish. Nice one.
