Cask at Birmingham Beer Festival 2016; dark brown pour with a bubbly tan head, aroma has sweet malts, dark fruits, taste has treacle, dark fruit, hint of smoke.

Cask (gravity) @ Nottingham Robin Hood Beer Festival (2014), Nottingham Castle, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EL. [ As Dukeries Gunsmoke ].Clear medium to dark brown amber color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good - fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, pale malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, pale malt, caramel, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141010]
