Bottle from my local grocery shop โLocoโ. Pours clear golden with a medium sized throthy white head. Aroma has this typical Shepherd Neame metallic smell with citrus notes and a hint of tropical fruit. Taste has more citrus notes, lemony, maybe a hint of caramel, honey and biscuit with a subtle earthy hop bitterness throughout. Medium body, fair carbonation with a smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Pretty good beer and i prefer this to the original Amber Spitfire.

Bottle from local Asda. Some caramel in the nose here, but not much. Pours a golden orange with a small white head and some lacing. Some slight fruitiness (orange) in the mouth, but mainly caramel malt. Bit of a nothing beer really โ canโt think of any distinctive features ! Itโs OK.

Frothy off white head left a cover on a pale copper coloured still body. Kentish hops, fruit & malt tastes. Medium to thin bodied, sparkling on the tongue with smoother back. Bitter tangy fruit, caramel, pale malt, some hoppiness & confectionery tastes.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - golden and clear. Nicely proportioned head. Nose - caramel and biscuit. Light honey. Taste - more caramel biscuit. Palate - creamy and light to medium bodied. The finish could be fresher, a bit sweet really. Overall - so so.
