Light amber. Clear. Nose: biscuit malts, honey, spicy hop, minor butterscotch. Light body. Taste: initially sweetish, moderately malty and hoppy. Light ending bitterness with floral and spicy profile. Hoppy aftertaste. OK.

500ml bottle. Poured a crystal clear copper colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is buttery sweet toffee malt, light sweet fruit, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a light crisp, fresh malt, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Deep golden color, small white head. Aroma has light sweetness and fruityness, typical Shep Neame notes. Light-bodied. Light crystal malts, fruityness, a bit hard finish. Very typical SN house flavours even with US hops. Ok. Boring version of Spitfire.
