Bottle from Home Bargains – drank at home. Pours golden yellow with a medium sized frothy off-white head and some lacing. Not much of an aroma – just some general hoppiness. In the mouth briefly sweet and juicy initially, but bitterness of traditional hops quickly comes through to dominate. Some grains, herbs and malts in the flavour too. Finish is pretty dry and quite bitter. This is OK, but a bit nondescript.

Spotty off white head on a pale amber coloured body. Bitter malty aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a thinner sticky back. Sweet, malt, herbal, tea & delicately fruity tastes with a tangy finish. Easy going.

Bottle from Morrisons. Pours a clear golden colour with a medium sized foamy white head. Aromas of citrus, floral, toffee and caramel. Taste is again citrus, floral and caramel. Some citrus pith on a bitter hoppy finish. Thin to medium body, average carbonation and slightly oily mouthfeel. Ok beer.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a golden with a white creamy and frothy edged head. Aroma is citrus, soapy, grain. Taste is fruity, light citrus, grainy, nice malty backbone. Surprised at how decent this is.
