Made with a melange of real black raspberries and red raspberries for a stunning red color, pungent berry aroma and accented with a kiss of lemongrass.

Can at Matteo abode, thanks to Wingmane, 31/10/16. Light crimson with a moderate off white cap. Nose is jammy fruits, straw, raspberry jam pips, straw, toasted bread. Taste comprises much the same, jammy fruits, red berry fruit, straw, grains, raspberry jam. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough for style.

Can at home. Bought at Wine Rack, West Byfleet. Tart rasberry aroma, not too much though. Looks like blood orangeade to me - the colour and the bubbles. Or melted sorbet. Pink tinged head soon leaves few traces. Bitter. In fact pretty sour. Medium bodied. Frothy. Dry finish. Has some punch to it. Not as rasberryade-like as similar examples of this style. Guess the lemongrass tones it down. Salty, tart finish. Interesting. Undecided as to what I really think of it.

Can. Can’t recall where from. Murky, pinky bronze. Thin, foamy, shiny, pink tinged head. Aroma of raspberry jelly. Raspberry Mivvi lollies. Light herb. Taste is quite dry, with some light, fruity sweetness. Light, crisp, dry mouthfeel. Finishes much the same, with an earthy, herbal bitterness to close. Nice one.

355ml can from Appellation Wines, Dalry Road. Pours hazy red with a thin white head. Aromas of raspberry jam, light lemon. Taste is more jammy, lemongrass comes through. Big herbal hit at the back. Sweet finish.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - deep damson with a generous head which has a teeny hint of pink. Nose - raspberry jam. Taste - raspberries and strawberries. Less sweet and jammy than the nose. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - solid and interesting enough.
