Tap: Golden, almost clear, medium-sized and slowly collapsing white head; dryish grainy-dusty nose with a slight hopy tartness in the background and a certain yeasty fruitiness; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, fortunately is a malty base detectable, light bodied and a bit tart;slightly lingering spicy-hoppy and a bit yeasty finish. A drinkable Pils with a mild bohemian touch…

Beautiful grassy hoppy nose. A touch of graininess in the mouth balanced with a fair amount of hops. Moderate amount of hops lingering in the finish.

Keg at the brewpub, 19/07/15. Pale golden with a decent white cap. Nose is pale malt, straw, bread dough, citric notes. Taste comprises lemon rind, fresh grass, bready malts, strae. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp curtain call. Solid pils, clean and refreshing.

Draught in the Brewpub on 20th Jan 2014. Pours a misty yellow / orange colour with a full white crown. The nose was a blend of grassy notes, yeast and mild maltiness: the taste followed those lines too. This isn’t a crisp, clean tasting Pilsner, it’s got some flavour and attitude compared to most mass produced German Pilsners I’ve come across. Body depth was good, it wasn’t watery or weak feeling. The wife didn’t like hers very much, so I had some of that one as well.
