Loads of liquorice and cherry in the aroma present as sarsaparilla and lemon in the mouth, overwhelming the more traditional stout notes of chocolate, coffee and caramel. The sarsaparilla unbalances it a little, but it's a bold effort.

From a 330ml bottle on 10/1/2018. Pours a cola colour with a small head. The nose is malty with caramel dominating. Flavour wise, it's quite sweet, with yet more caramel, some milk chocolate, lactose and vanilla. The sweet is met by a modest bitterness which fits well. Medium bodied with softish carbonation. A rather tasty sweet stout.

Pours dark brown with a massive head.Nose shows floral hops and soft nutty malt with hints of chocolate. Somewhat faint.Acidic flavours, also some savoury hints. Some faint roasty malt and nutty characters too.Could use more carbonation.
