clear golden colour, one inch of dense, long lasting white head; aroma and taste of canned sweetcorn and almost nothing else - but at least, I ticked a new country, Nicaragua

This will be my first Nicaraguan beer, found at the local supermarket, curiously, in a 12 oz bottle. A lager, no surprise in that. I have a bar glass ready to receive the pour, a clear gold-yellow body with a bare ring of almost white foam. I smell citrus and a bit of burnt grain. The drink is citrus again, mostly lemon in that, grain, could that be barley? The saving grace is the sensation, full for the style, I am impressed by that. Not bad for a pale lager. But then again, how often is one actually bad?

350 ml bottle, served in a Teku glass. A crystal-filtered pale golden pour with an off-white head that vanishes and leaves no trace. Aroma is cookie dough, cardboard, paper, white flour and a minuscule hint of dandelion. Dry but not too much, watery, fizzy. Very low body. Aftertaste is cardboard. Not my cup o' tea.

16 oz can, surprisingly found at my local craft shop. Cracked this can, and knew exactly how I would feel about it. Just has that international macro lager nose from quite a distance. Flavor is existent, so there's that. A lot of water logged paper grain. Wet finish. Don't really have a problem drinking this, so I can't hate rate it. For a couple bucks a can, I at least got what I paid for.
