Bottle thanks...no, from... Swalden28. Pours with an amber body and a white head. Aroma of sugar, corn, apple and dryer sheets. Taste is sugar, ass, and apple. Fizzy, dry and altogether undrinkable.

Amber coloured body with a cola coloured tint and a light tan head. Aroma of apples, metal, malt, alcohol, grapes and a little bit of raisins. Light-bodied; Very shallow flavour of malt, cardboard, rice and cardboard. Aftertaste is just as short and leaves much left to be desired. Overall, one of the most bland beers i’ve had, especially when the smell and colour have been promising! I sampled this 355 mL bottle purchased from 7-11 in Ciudad de Mexico (Mexico City), Mexico on Cinco de Mayo, 2007.

More malty scent and taste than I remembered it to be. Medium mouthfeel, medium low bitterness. Still plenty of more character than many other generic lagers I’ve had from Mexico, but not as outstanding towards other beers than I remembered it to be. Bottle. Not much aroma and average color. Nice light tasting beer with well balanced malt and hops. A very nice Mexican beer. However, never seen it in the states.

I got this at the airport in Acapulco. Pretty red/gold color with a thin head that didn't stick around too long. Light malty and fruity aroma. The flavor was a little surprising, as I tasted some fruit (particularly raspberry) when I had been expecting more of a malty, Vienna-style drink. It was not too far on the fruit beer side though and I didn't find it too bad at all. A little thinner than I normally like but a decent summer beer and a great alternative to the Corona/Modelo crowd if you can find one in Mexico.

Draught at Frankfurt, Polanco, Mexico City. Clear nut brown, mid sized head. Caramelly nose. Mid sweet with light-medium body and clean mouthfeel. Fruit, caramel and, wait - that’s it. Perhaps slight boiled vegetables. Low bitterness. Perhaps not the most exciting beer in the worldm, but a reasonable drinkable and clean macro amber lager.
