Chupacabras, a mythical extraterrestrial that according to legend inhabits both parts of the American continent. The name reflects the activity that this animal was doing so greedily. Drink to believe.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Hazy Reddish copper amber brown colour, lasting beige head. Some toffee and hop on the aroma. It’s a malty hoppy apa. A bit sweet for me. OK hops. Yes again starting to turn in terms of freshness.

Ambar, translucida. Bonita espuma cremosa. En boca es ligera algo aguada. Aroma malteado, notas de miel y madera. Malteada, dulce, tostada, notas florales. Cansina.

Hazy amber. Thin head. Aroma is not much and it’s just a fizzy amber ale. Burpy. Ok as an amber but will disappoint if you’re looking for any hops.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 12/13/2014. Pours lightly hazy orange amber color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, caramel, toast, biscuit, light nuttiness, floral, grass, and floral/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of citrus/floral hops and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, caramel, toast, biscuit, light nuttiness, floral, grass, light pine, and floral/toasted earthiness. Light floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, caramel, toast, biscuit, light nuttiness, floral, grass, and toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and robustness of citrus/floral hops and bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good English pale ale. All around good balance and robustness of citrus/floral hops and bready malt flavors; and very smooth to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Bottle, thanks to brocansail. Almost clear deep amber/light copper liquid with small off-white head. Aroma of bread, dried fruit, stale hops, light pine, toast and light vegetables. Taste is very light sweet and light bitter with notes of bread, toast, caramel, light pine and light butter. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Very meh, stale and way too malty for the style. Mexico tick though!

Draught at Fiebre de Malta, Mexico City. Hazy orange/amber, firm creamy head. Aroma of lime and grapefruit. Mid sweet with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Plenty of lime, grapefruit and pine. Long bitter finish with resiny undertones. Nice!

A golden ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, a nice biscuit malt with floral hops and light honey. In mouth, a nice pale ale with roasted malt, floral hops, reminiscent of st-ambroise pale ale.
