Queen Serenada breathed life into her golden kingdom. Warm, spinning coils of light emanated from her Palace, carrying the music of abundance and alchemy. Her spark gave rise to the life around her, and her song nourished her creations for ages. As yeast gives life and effervescence to beer, the serenade of simplicity from the best ingredients our land has to offer keeps us marching toward Serenity. This Brettanomyces fermented golden ale is aged in french oak foeders and puncheons. Delicate blending and bottle conditioning then render the true expression of Brettanomyces. Bottle big thanks to Tom at RBESG. It pours cloudy gold with a small white head. The nose is massive brett, earth, barnyard, manure, dirt and old fruits. The taste is crisp, bitter, earthy, brett, minerals, dough, mild lemon, barnyard and green apple with a dry finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Pretty manure and barnyard rich...

375ml bottle pours a clear gold with some soapy, white head. Nose is interesting, some funk, some lemon, some distinct dirty diaper too. Flavor improves, some lemon, a bit of cooked lima bean, a little chrysanthemum tea. Tannic finish. Smells and tastes a bit like lima beans. A bit ferrous.

Bottle. Clear yellow body with a white, fizzy head. Aroma of brett, lacquer, citrus, peach, grape, lemon. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. Medium body, watery texture turning velvety, champagne-like carbonation. Lots of interesting flavors in this, grape, mango, leather, lemon tartness. Despite the lively carbonation, the finish had a bit of a buttery texture to it. Thanks wnoble.

Bottle thanks to Andy. Pours cloudy gold with white head. Nose and taste of brett, lemon, sour funk and light malt. Nose is much better than the taste, which is more muted. Delicate on the palate. Lighter bodied.

Bottle poured at Ratebeer Gallery II. Pours cloudy pale yellow with a small white head that dissipates leaving decent lacing. Aroma is fairly light with notes of Brett, horse blanket, lemon, frut. Flavor is also light, light sweet, light funky, a bit fruity and clean in very regard. Light bodied. Nice and simple. Did not blow me away, but this would be something I would grab as a thirst quencher any day.
