Queen Serenada breathed life into her golden kingdom. Warm, spinning coils of light emanated from her Palace, carrying the music of abundance and alchemy. Her spark gave rise to the life around her, and her song nourished her creations for ages. As yeast gives life and effervescence to beer, the serenade of simplicity from the best ingredients our land has to offer keeps us marching toward Serenity. This Brettanomyces fermented golden ale is aged in french oak foeders and puncheons. Delicate blending and bottle conditioning then render the true expression of Brettanomyces. Sample at the 2014 Infected Chimipalooza on 11/01/2014. Hazy pale golden color with a thin white head that recedes steadily. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of brett, herbal yeast and tropical fruit. Light-bodied with flavors of frunky citrus and tropical fruit, brett yeast and a bit of oak. The finish is tart with a funky fruit aftertaste. Above average overall.

Had this at the 2014 RB Pittsburgh Summer Gathering at Horny Devel’s place. Actually it was after the equinox at the beginning of fall, but DILLIGAF. Big thanks to James & Michelle for hosting such a nice spread of quality beers and for this particular beer a GIANT thanks goes out to artmcd8. Mild beery smell. Looks like lemonade with a head. Feel is soft and almost watery in texture. Mild co2. This beer’s mild nature makes it fun to be with. Never in yer face, just a nice even beer. You’d never know this is 5%, hides the alky well. Laid back without anything getting in the way. Mild tartness without any burn. Finish is easy and mild. This beer is easy to like and it ROCKS. Yummy.

Picked up a bottle of this over Labor Day weekend when I was in North Carolina. Poured a slightly pale yellow color, slight haze with a quickly dissipating white head, which leaves just a wispy white head. Aroma is barrel notes, brett, funky notes. Tartness, with some nice woody character and a decent amount of apricot and light peach. Incredibly drinkable thanks to a lower ABV. Perhaps less complex than other similar beers, but incredibly tasty.

Bottle shared during the RBESG London 2014 Sunday Tasting. Pours hazy pale yellow with a light, foamy white head. The nose holds light funk, lemon, brett. Light sweet flavor, dry, with nice lemon zest and crispy wheat. Light bodied with average carbonation and airy mouthfeel. Dry and crisp on the finish - pretty much bone dry - with light floral qualities and mild funk. A lovely, easy drinking beer.

On tap at the brewpub. Hazy yellow, with a small, off-white head. The aroma is straw, white wine, light cream, barnyard funk, and a little tropical fruit. Dry, bitter, and pleasantly funky. Light to medium body, thin, acidic, with a sharp, dry finish. Overall, this is a mellow, flavorful, and well balanced sour. Very nice!
