The blend of pale, lager, crystal and cara malts give Goldeneye its full body and rich gold colour. The initial impression of moderate bitterness balances with a clean finish. Fruity citrus notes of grapefruit and tangerine shine through with a touch of marmalade sweetness.

Deep gold beer, thin white head. Sweet, lemon citrus aroma. Taste follows suit, with some dry, bitter hop. There's not a heck of a lot else to it but it's perfectly drinkable.

33cl bottle from M&S, Camberley. A bright amber pour with a ring of white head; grainy aroma with some red berries and lime juice; bready taste with a touch of rye; then a long spicy bitterness and some red fruit to finish. A solid golden ale.

Bottle at home, thanks to James, 13/02/16. Golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is orange wine gums, bready vibes, lime jus, grassy. Taste comprises bitter orange, earthy hop, light tropicana, spice, bready notes, caramel malt. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok ... a Golde @5.6%?
