Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - deep golden with no head and gentle bubbles. Nose - bread with light honey. Spice and herb hop edge to it. Taste - more bread and hop spiciness. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry elegant finish. Overall - a really authentic Munich Helles. Iām impressed.

Bottle from the online shop, drunk at home. Straw, with a fair bit of visible carbonation and a quickly dissipating white head. Bready lemony smell, but somehow cleaner than a lot of Helles. A bit of dried grass and pear drops. The taste is sweet and citrussy with a gummy, almost resinous feel. Some nice bitterness in the medium to long finish. Not a bad drop.

Bottle from Cornelius and can from Cork & Cask. Clear golden body with a medium white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of bread, tangerine and hay. Flavour of grass and earth. Thin body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Clean and simple.
