Presented in a barrel shaped bottle, Efes draft is a light, refreshing lager that's not been pasteurised for as a long as the regular lager, thus it has a shorter shelf life but a more fresh taste.

In my point of view, it is a basical product without surprise, syrup of malt, corn, sweet, artificial side, watery, so-so, tasting it a long time ago.

I think the restaurant was actually next to this one, but I'm not sure. Beer is definitely better on draft.

Two bottles in the Turkish restaurant in the next village to ours with another couple. The food and the company were excellent, just a shame about the beer. A really chemically taste that still lingers in my mouth. Really not good.

Bottle at home, thanks to Roger, 23/12/24. Clear golden with a white cap that thins over time. Nose is pale malts, grains, cereals, stale bread, herb. Taste comprises pale malts, cardboard, grains, straw, cereals. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Crappy macro logger.

Bottle from Home Bargains, Bridge of Don. Served pretty cold. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The aroma is quite sweet, sugary, cheap white bread, supermarket own - brand biscuits, some toasty grains and spice. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, bitter - sweet, fairly hearty malt base, white bread, biscuit, grain, grassy, spicy hops and some sweetness. Finish is toasty grains. Average body and moderate+ carbonation. I've had a lot worse. Served chilled it drinks fine.
