Wie der Name schon verrät, trifft die Kirsche auf den Ingwer. Das, durch die Sauerkirschen, rot gefärbte Bier hat einen sehr natürlichen Ingwerduft und einen dominierenden Kirschgeschmack. Im Abgang schmeckt man eine leichte Ingwernote, die das Ganze zur Vollendung bringt.

Flasche bei der Brauerei. Trübes rot, fast kein Schaum, der dann auch schnell verschwand. Aroma: Kirschjoghurt, Kirsche, Hopfen. Geschmack: frischer Ingwer, etwas Brot im Gaumen, Unterschwellig Sauerkirsch. Eher süß, aber eine saure Note.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, huge head. Fruity aroma. Starts mild, malty, fruity. Some light cherry notes, more and more spicy-herbal. Finish dry, spicy, grasy. Interesting.

I would have liked that batch with a more fruity approach. Mostly a pure pink ginger beer in my bottle. Nothing wrong with that. But I would prefer a less prominent ginger profile. More cherry next time please. I would not have guessed that it contained cherry unless written on the label.

31-08-18 // taster at the brewpub. White bottle. Bright amber beer, small white head. Nose of cherry sweetness. Taste is mild sourish sweet cherries, some ginger spice, sweet but not too sweet, quite okay.

50cl bottle from the brewpub. Smooth mild beginning. Moderate bitter, fresh fruity. The cherries are very sour-dry in the background, the ginger is only in parts there in the aftertaste. Fresh and smooth with a nice fruity background. Grain, fresh fruit, smooth with a bitter-fruity aftertaste. Nice stuff.

50cl swing top bottle. Pours almost clear orange reddish colour with a mid-sized most good lasting light purple head. Aroma of ginger, mild red beeries, not too sweet. Taste of cherries, ginger, not too intense aroma, not too sweet, interesting!
